There were a lot of exciting events in November. The children enjoyed the visit from The Seeing Eye Dog Organization of Morristown. We learned all about their program, as well as, were introduced the two dogs that they brought along with them.
Parent Observations and Parent-Teacher Conferences were very informative and a lot of fun!
Each classroom participated in Native American Day by making crafts and displaying them for all other students and parents to see. Each classroom had a specific tribe that they studied. The parents then were able to visit the classrooms to see all of their children's displays (examples - wikiups, teepee and wigwams)
We finished off the month with our Thanksgiving Feast - which was a huge success. The children enjoyed the singing and delicious goodies. Thank you to all who donated treats for our feast.
Every other Wednesday, the Jefferson Township Librarian, Miss Chris comes in to read to our Kindergarteners. She usually will bring in books that reflect whatever theme we are currently working on.
On the opposite Wednesdays our children have been enjoying Mr. Chris with our Jamming for Juniors program. In November they learned about Country Music and Musical Mystery Bag. The kids have a great time and really seem to be enjoying this program.

School Closed
School will be closed for the Holiday Recess from December 26th - December 30th. May you and your families enjoy whichever holiday you may celebrate.
Reminders:
Please call school or check the web site's home page for any school closings due to inclement weather. Over the holiday break, please bring your child's coat bag home and replenish it with seasonal clothing - as we still try to get outside as much as weather will allow us to.
