October Events
10/5 Visit from Jefferson Firefighters – Firefighters will visit the school at 9:15am. All children are invited to attend even if it is not your child’s regular day – parent can stay with your child for the visit.
Week of 10/10 Grandparent’s Visit – Throughout the week of 10/10 Alpine will be observing Grandparent’s Day with a classroom visit. Look for a sign-up sheet in each classroom.
10/13 Back to School Night – 7pm (no children please) We will be discussing our curriculum and your child’s school day.
10/28 Celebrate the Statue of Liberty – Happy Anniversary to Lady Liberty. The children will be making a special treat in celebration. She has been standing holding torch for 125 years!!
10/31 Halloween Parade and our Boo or Treat. Parade at 9:30 with Boo or Treat to follow!
Help Wanted
Parent volunteers are needed for the Halloween Boo Bash on Monday October 31st to make goody bags and hand them out to the children from a decorated box. Please see your child’s teacher to volunteer.
Reminders
Please label all children’s belongings. If you would like your child’s lunch to be heated – please send it in a microwave safe container. Update the clothing in your child’s coat bag to reflect seasonal changes.
