The new school year started out smoothly and everyone has adjusted - it is going to be a great year! We had a busy month which kicked off with Mr. Chris coming in to teach us about Country Music! Miss Chris from the Jefferson Library also came in to read lots of fun and interesting books to the kindergarteners.
The children enjoyed the pancake breakfast that their teachers prepared for them to promote National Breakfast Month. The breakfast consisted of pancakes, fruit and juice. We also had another delicious event when we celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday. The children helped prepare and then eat homemade applesauce.
We finished the month with the Jefferson Fire Department coming to talk to us about fire safety and let us see and go on their truck.
