In March - Spring finally arrived. We are still waiting for the rest of the snow to melt and the playground to dry out but we should be outside playing in no time! We celebrated St. Patricks Day with crafts and treats. However, we weren't able to catch the leprechaun who made a real mess in our classrooms! We have also been busy working on our Easter projects.
As always, we had a great time with Mr. Chris as we learned about Irish Music and he brought in instruments made out of all different items - like gourds - they made fun and interesting sounds.

Geography Enrichment Program We are very excited to now be offering an enrichment program for our Alpine Montessori Kindergarten and First Grade class 2 times per month. A new topic will be explored each session. April's topics will be on 4/4 "Following Map Directions" and 4/18 "Continents". We hope that our kindergarteners will meet the geography classes with enthusiasm. Materials will be sent home with students after these sessions and we encourage a student/parent discussion at home following every geography class.
