February Recap
In February Mr. Chris came to teach our children about funky music and the drums. The cool beat from the funky music was a great way to start the morning and made everyone feel like moving. Each kid had a chance to take a turn trying out Mr. Chris's drum kit - FUN.
The children really enjoyed wearing their pjs to school on Pennies for Pajamas day. We raised lots of money along with other schools in Sparta to purchase warm pajamas for homeless children. It was a great cause.
Picture day went well - we all smiled our best smiles! Our Valentine's Day pizzas were delicious!! A big THANK YOU to the Sipols family for the King Cakes to celebrate Mardi Gras.
Thank you to all who participated in the Gertrude Hawk chocolate fundraiser. Stay tuned for improvements that we will be making to our outside playground space this spring.

3/7 Jamming for Juniors - "jazz music"
3/19 St. Patty's Day - we will celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Monday 3/19 with stories, collages and a delicious snack. Remember to wear green on that day!
3/20 Welcome in Spring - with new and exciting art activities, stories and much more outside time! We will be starting our planting projects to kick off the spring season.

Open House
This year Alpine will be holding an open house on Saturday March 24th from 10am-12pm to introduce our school to anyone that is thinking about summer camp or school for their child. Please spread the word if you have any friends or neighbors that may have a child that could benefit from our amazing program and school!!
Summer Camp and Fall Registration
Registration materials are being sent out for summer camp and the 2012-2013 school year. Please review the materials and return them as soon as possible to secure your child's place in their classroom.
Reminder
Please call school or check the web site's home page for closings due to inclement weather. Please note while at school for drop off/pick up to not hang around in the parking lot as we have limited parking and need to open the parking spots for other families dropping off or picking up their children. Thank you
