A month of celebrations!!
Columbus Day – we will be learning about who Christopher Columbus is by reading stories and coloring pictures of Columbus and his three ships.
Happy Birthday Winnie the Pooh – October 14th is Pooh is 85 years old. We will be reading Pooh Bear stories and doing a special art project.
Happy Anniversary to the Statue of Liberty – on October 28th she will be standing for 125 years. We will be celebrating this occasion by making a very special snack.
October Events
10/5 Grandparents Day – come and enjoy spending time with your grandchild and share a special snack
10/11 Back to School Night – 7pm – come and meet Mr. and Mrs. Madia and all of our staff. We will be discussing our curriculum and some do’s and don’t to help this year run smooth!
10/31 Halloween Parade and our Boo or Treat. Parade at 9:30 with Boo or Treat to follow!
Help Wanted
Parents needed to help with our Parade and Boo or Treat. Please remember to hold your youngster’s hand when entering and leaving school! Your child’s safety is important to us!!
Reminders
Label all items coming into school. Please return all paperwork to Mrs. Gorman. When driving into our parking lot please SLOW DOWN!
